We’re pleased to announce Katie Earnest has joined our community as our new executive director. Katie brings eight years of experience in senior care, first in the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program and most recently as an administrator at an assisted living community in Tennessee.
“I feel blessed to be in a position where I can serve a faith-based community that upholds my personal values, while making a difference in the lives of individuals and families,” she said. “The thing I love most about Bethesda Gardens Frisco is being able to serve our residents while being part of a great team of caregivers and staff.”

As a faith-based community, everyone at Bethesda Gardens Frisco strives to embody the ideals of selfless service—working in faith to do everything we can for our residents. It’s a powerful calling, and Katie said she feels right at home. Raised in Garland, she got into a career in senior living thanks to the positive influence of her grandparents during her childhood.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Alabama and a master’s in long-term care, senior housing and aging services from the University of North Texas.
She was glad to return to her Texas roots recently when her husband accepted a teaching and football coaching position in Frisco. They currently have one son, and Katie is looking forward to growing her family at home and growing with Bethesda Gardens Frisco.
